PPM Conference | Terms & Conditions

The PPM | Group has been hosting the PPM | Conference for more than 20 years and is the longest consecutive operating property management event in Australia.  

The PPM | Conference has attracted almost every property management industry influencer as a speaker and has been attended by delegates from every State of Australia, as well as overseas guests joining us from New Zealand, USA, United Kingdom, South Africa, China, Hong Kong, and Japan.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The delegate registration tickets are purchased as non-refundable* but are fully transferable in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

1.    Delegate Registration Payments
All delegate registration ticket bookings must be paid in full to guarantee registration. Once payment has been received, an email confirmation and an invoice will be issued. If payment is not made at the time of the booking, then your registration will be provisional and not guaranteed.

2.    Delegate Early Bird Registrations
All types of early bird registrations and special rate tickets are not refundable but are still transferable.

3.    Refunds & Cancellations
* If the conference is cancelled due to an issue within the PPM Group’s control, then a full refund may be offered at the organiser's discretion.  If the conference is cancelled due to an issue beyond the PPM Group’s control, such as, poor weather conditions, cancelled transportation to the event, natural disasters, government mandates, COVID-19 restrictions, etc. then no refunds will be offered.  However, all delegate registration tickets will be transferable to the next event date

4.    Next Event Date
The PPM | Group will liaise with the event hotel organiser regularly to discuss the current COVID situation, potential restrictions, and shutdowns as a lead up to the conference date and will keep all delegates, speaker, sponsors, and third-party stakeholders updated. If the current date cannot take place then the PPM Group will work towards the next available date in the current year or (if a date is unavailable) the following year, June scheduled date will take place.

5.    COVID-19 Cancellation/Transfer/Postponement/Substitutions of Event
If COVID-19 restrictions prevent the event from taking place in accordance with the scheduled advertised dates, then all delegate registration tickets will be transferred to the next event date (back-up) within the current year and/or a pre-determined date the following year, which ever date comes first.

6.    Delegate Transfers/Substitutions
All delegate registration tickets are transferable to a substitute person to attend when at least 48 hours’ written notice is given prior to the start of the event without incurring any additional costs.  If a delegate registration ticket is unable to be transferred, you will have an additional provision to transfer the delegate registration ticket to the following year event, where a 20% transfer administration fee will apply.  Delegate ticket registrations can only be transferred to the following year's event once.   All transfer requests and substitutions must be submitted in writing. 

7.   COVID-19 Cancellation/Transfer/Postponement/Substitutions of Event Fee
The PPM Group will not charge a cancellation/transfer/postponement/substitution fee should a delegate wish to cancel attendance to the event based on concerns around the health or travel during the COVID-19 situation.  The registration booking will be transferred to the next scheduled event date. 

8.    No Shows
If a delegate is unable to attend (at the last minute) within 48 hours of the event (without prior written notice) there will be no transfer/substitution conditions or refunds applicable.

9.    Changes to Speakers & Program

  • The PPM Group reserves the right to make alterations to the speakers, program, venue date and timings.
  • In the event, for whatever reason, that the event must be postponed or the dates having to be changed, the organiser shall not be liable for any expenditure or loss of income, such as travel and accommodation or any damage or loss incurred by the delegate.
  • If by re-arrangement or postponement the event can take place, the booking between the delegate and the organisers shall remain in force and will be subject to the PPM Group’s cancellation policy.

10.    Speaker Views
Views expressed by the PPM Group and event speakers are their own. The PPM Group cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the event or in any material provided to delegates by our guest speakers.

11.    Dietary & Access Requirements
Delegates should advise the PPM Group of any special dietary or access requirements at the time of registration or at least seven days prior to the commencement date of the event.  Dietary requirement provision will be in accordance with the hotel’s policies.

12.    Registration Information
Final registration information will be sent to delegates by email at least seven days prior to the event.  Any delegate not receiving the registration information should contact us by email at info@ppmgroup.com.au

13.    Photography & Filming
For promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the event. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the organisers by email to info@ppmgroup.com.au  prior to the event. By registering for any PPM Group event, you authorise the host company to take photos at the event. As a registered delegate you agree and authorise the PPM Group to be the owner of the copyright and photographs and that it may use the photographs for any purpose it considers appropriate, including publicity, education or other activities and may earn income for the PPM Group’s own benefit.
